In the beginning,
Sumiati started as a concerned parent. She and her husband wanted to understand and develop their own children's style of learning. They understood that all children are different and because of that, learn differently. She wanted to help their children unlock and maximise their learning potential. That is what lead them to Brain Gym® all the way in America. Brain Gym® did exactly that and they realised how Brain Gym® had the potential to help so many other children study, learn and enjoy learning at the same time. That is when they decided to pioneer the Brain Gym® movement in Singapore by opening a therapy/play center, offering services to help children from all walks of life overcome and conquer learning difficulties. That was 20 years ago.
Today Sumiati is a wealth of experience, with the completion of Brain Gym® and other specialty Educational Kinesiology courses/ certification taken in New Zealand, Canada, USA, and Australia. Completed also training and certification in Cranio Sacral Therapy and Lymph Drainage Therapy, Touch for Health, and Counselling Practicum (The Satir’s Model of Therapy).
She is the only approved trainer of Bal-A-Vis-X in the South-East Asia region.
To help children and adults unlock their potentials within them through Brain Gym® movements, integrative PLAY, Music Therapy and Bal-A-Vis-X.

Experience: Blessed with more than 20 years of experience, she comes mainly from the heart, working on children that have severe learning difficulties, those with developmental delays, emotional or social issues, suicidal and mental challenges, ADD, ADHD, CAPD ( Central Auditory Processing Disorder), Dyslexia and Sensory- Dysfunction, those with Autism Spectrum, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
She believes that by giving them an opportunity to play, learn, and to establish a sense of personal space and of upright balance (all the activities involving gross-motor coordination for moving in gravity), they will achieve success at a neurologically organized behavior, that experience becomes a springboard for further learning and growth.
